This past weekend many volunteers helped out in AquaMeridian's US Chapter's first beach cleanup! In the Waterfront Park at the Seaplane Lagoon of Alameda, participants collected over 200 pounds of trash in just 2 hours! In partnership with S.F. Mission Blue Hope Spot, CASA, and DOER Marine, this event helped protect marine life, preserve beach beauty, promote human health, prevent pollution, and raise awareness about responsible waste disposal practices.
