11/20-24 Silicon Valley Turkey Trot

On Thanksgiving week, Teens Club volunteered at Silicon Valley's Turkey Trot, an annual gathering each year for Thanksgiving! Silicon Valley Turkey Trot is the largest Thanksgiving Day race in the US, boasting 20,000 runners and 1,200 volunteers. They have a 5K and 10K race, a Kids' Fun Run and Fun Zone, and a costume contest! Our teens volunteered on Sunday 11/20 to distribute bibs and shirts to the racers, and they volunteered at the event on Thursday 11/24 to set up the event, help check-in, serve refreshments to the runners, and encourage fitness.
