On the first Sunday of October, teens helped out at the iGnite Piano Festival! This was the Bay Area's 1st outdoor piano festival and was held as a rally for music education and a showcase of young, talented Bay Area pianists. Our teens helped make sure the three hour concert ran smoothly, as well as setting and cleaning up before and after the event. They set up the stage with balloon decor, coordinated the performers, scanned tickets, seat eventgoers, and fundraise with raffles and booths.
The performers themselves ranged from age 8 to 16 and put on some stunning classical music performances, including Mozart, Beethoven, Chopin, and many more. Learn more about the pianists and the festival here.
